Spitzschuh Invests in the Future

The Market-Leading Specialist in Customized Screw Thread Technology

Sustainability in focus: Our path to renewable energy

Spitzschuh Maschinenbau GmbH has been a specialist in the field of thread production and CNC contract manufacturing for over 40 years. Despite the Corona crisis, the family business is investing in the future with its own PV system and electric cars for its employees. The company currently has 17 employees, including one apprentice.

In our efforts to act as a future-oriented company, we have taken a decisive step towards sustainability: installing a photovoltaic system on our company roof. This investment in renewable energy not only reflects our commitment to protecting the environment, but also brings significant benefits.

By using solar energy, we reduce our energy costs in the long term. This is an important consideration, especially at a time when energy prices are rising worldwide. With this measure we are also improving our corporate image. Our customers and business partners appreciate that we take responsibility for the environment and actively contribute to climate protection.

Another significant advantage is the reduction of our carbon footprint. With the photovoltaic system, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus make a contribution to global environmental protection. In addition, generating your own energy ensures greater independence and security of supply.

We are proud to have taken this step towards a more sustainable future and look forward to sharing our experiences in this area with our partners and customers.

Employee Benefits:

Spitzschuh offers flextime, discounted lunches, a fitness room and a bonus plan in the form of an electric car after three successful business years. Employees are provided with an MG ZS with a power output of 68 kW, and management with a Tesla Model 3.

In operation since mid-August 2020, our rooftop PV system has an output of 114 kWp at a total cost of 127,000 euros.
